Back to School DIY Custom Binder

Fall is approaching which means it's back to school! Spruce up boring clear view binders with this quick DIY project!
You're going to need a clear view binder in the color of your choice
A paper cutter to keep everything straight (scissors are fine if you don't have one)

Two sheets of 12"X12" scrapbook paper
And a ruler
First off you're going to need to measure your binder. Remember that the measurements will be slightly smaller than the binder itself.
For the back measurement make sure to account for these rivets.  The scrapbook paper will not be able to fit past them.
Before you start cutting, decide which parts of the paper you want displayed and what to cut off.
Cut the paper to width measurement
And then to the height measurement
The piece for the spine will have the same height measurement as the front and back panels and the width will be the same as the binder. For example, 1" for a 1" binder 2" for a 2" binder, so on and so forth.

For a cleaner look, cut the piece for the spine from a scrap that will continue the pattern or design from one of the other panels.
Don't throw away the leftover paper! Use them to make matching bookmarks.
And there you go! A fun, easy, and inexpensive back to school project!
